PDP says party ‘leaders prevented from protesting against outsourcing of govt. jobs in J&K’
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accused the administration of cracking down on its leaders to suppress protests against outsourcing 25,000 government jobs in Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti, PDP president, claimed that the party's youth wing courageously protested despite police crackdowns, detentions, and house arrests. Sakina Itoo, J&K Minister, refuted the allegations, stating that outsourcing was not introduced by the current government and recruitment procedures were not compromised.
