Thane police have expanded their investigation into the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) question paper leak beyond state borders, dispatching teams to Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Three suspects arrested in the case were remanded to police custody until July 6th. Investigators suspect the mastermind is based in Delhi while other members operated from the National Capital Region (NCR). The gang allegedly planned to sell each leaked question paper for Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh, with the intention of making crores through the operation. The investigation is ongoing and police are verifying the identities of the accused and their potential buyers.
