Portrayal of pellet-hit victims in Bollywood film Chauhaan sparks anguish in Kashmir

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, Chauhaan, has sparked controversy after a teaser depicting a pellet injury was released. Imran Nabi Dar, spokesperson for the National Conference, condemned the film as "propaganda" and urged its removal, citing its potential to incite violence. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, head of Save Youth Save Future, criticized the film for glorifying violence and reducing Kashmir to a battlefield. Social activist Sahil Parray expressed concern over the vilification of Kashmiris, while pellet-hit victims have reported feeling traumatized by the teaser.
