Bharat Taxi launched to end exploitation by cab aggregators: Amit Shah

Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched Bharat Taxi, a cooperative ride-hailing platform, in 14 cities across Gujarat. He criticized private cab aggregators like Uber and Ola for exploiting drivers and commuters through practices prioritizing corporate profits over fair treatment. Shah claimed that Bharat Taxi aims to eliminate such practices by offering a zero-commission model where drivers retain the entire fare and have ownership in the platform. The event was attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and over 4,000 Bharat Taxi drivers.
