Kerala local body polls: LDF leads in vote share of fronts in Thiruvananthapuram district
Despite a poor showing across the state, the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) secured more votes than the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) in Thiruvananthapuram district. The NDA emerged as the single largest front in the city, winning 50 out of 101 seats. The LDF garnered slightly more votes than the UDF in both the panchayats and the corporation, while other parties and independents won a combined 5.83% of the votes. Newly elected members will be sworn in on December 21st.
