Raghav Chadha Demands Bhagwant Mann's Resignation Over Video Row
Allegations of abuse of power and potential suppression of justice warrant urgent attention.
BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha demanded Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's resignation over a controversy involving a video that the Gurugram Police have determined to be authentic. Chadha also called for an investigation into the alleged fabrication of a forensic report related to the video and urged the first FIR under Punjab's new sacrilege law be filed against Mann. The Akal Takht, Sikhism's supreme temporal body, declared Mann "guru dokhi" (anti-guru) and "Khalsa panth virodhi" (anti-Khalsa panth) over the video. Chadha believes that the controversy has hurt Sikhs and calls for Mann to resign.
