A warehouse collapse in Kolkata's Taratala trapped over 60 labourers, resulting in a chaotic scene at the SSKM Hospital trauma care center. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari visited the hospital and reported that 25 labourers had been rescued, with five declared dead. The injured included many from Bihar, with families seeking information about their loved ones. Health Secretary Narayan Swarup Nigam assured that all necessary treatment was being provided, while Health Minister Dr Sharadwat Mukherjee stated that postmortem examinations would be conducted and an inquest report submitted by Wednesday night.
