Amid fresh defection claims by Shinde Sena, Uddhav Thackeray calls all Sena UBT MPs to Mumbai | Mumbai News
Uddhav Thackeray called all Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs to Mumbai for a meeting on Sunday, amid renewed speculation about an alleged attempt by the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena to engineer a split in the party's parliamentary wing. Prataprao Jadhav, a Union minister and Shiv Sena MP, claimed that "Operation Tiger" was nearing completion, while Bharat Gogawale, another state minister, indicated that leaders from the rival camp were in contact with the party. However, Ambadas Danve, a Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, dismissed these claims as baseless and said similar rumors had been circulating for months. At least two MPs publicly rejected the claims made by the Shinde camp, stating they would remain with the party.
