A Owaisi Meets Poll Officer, Seeks Transparency In Voter List Revision

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leaders met with the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Saturday to request greater transparency and clarity during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The party demanded pre-filled enumeration forms containing details from both 2002 and 2025 electoral rolls, as well as forms in English and Urdu, to reduce voter burden. AIMIM also requested a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for addressing anomalies during voter verification and broader acceptance of government-issued documents for verification.
