Majority of workers with NCP(SP) official faction, claim leaders
P.M. Suresh Babu, the new NCP(SP) State president, stated that a majority of party workers in Kerala remain loyal to the central leadership despite a split within the organization. He refuted claims by a rival faction led by former Minister A.K. Saseendran and Thomas K. Thomas, stating that these allegations are baseless as Supriya Sule, the working president, attended the INDIA bloc meeting in New Delhi. Babu asserted that the Kerala unit will stand firm with the Left front and reject attempts to induct the rival faction into the front.
