
Sixty next-generation trains to be introduced for Kolkata Metro in 5 years: Vaishnaw
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced plans to introduce 60 next-generation trains for the Kolkata Metro over the next five years, aiming to revitalize railway projects in West Bengal. Vaishnaw, who visited the state secretariat Nabanna with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, highlighted the progress made since 2014, including the addition of 45 km of metro lines.
