CM Adityanath launches Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam mega plantation campaign

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, launched a "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" mega plantation campaign on World Environment Day. The campaign, dedicated to mothers, aims to address environmental concerns by encouraging citizens to plant trees in their honor and contribute to forest conservation efforts. Adityanath emphasized the need for collective action to protect the environment and highlighted simple measures like avoiding single-use plastic to prevent damage. He also urged citizens not to harm existing trees and to plant at least one tree on every important occasion, referencing the significant number of saplings planted in Uttar Pradesh over the past nine years.
