BJP names Rajya Sabha candidates for five States; two Union Ministers left out
The BJP announced its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls in five states. The party nominated several younger leaders, including Rajubhai Shukla, Mukeshbhai Rathwa, Mansingh Parmar, and Jitendra Meghjibhai Kanzariya from Gujarat; Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Agrawal from Madhya Pradesh; Alka Gurjar and Satish Poonia from Rajasthan; A. Sharda Devi from Manipur; and Tai Tagak from Arunachal Pradesh. The party also accommodated Debashish Samantaray, who recently joined the BJP after leaving his seat in the Rajya Sabha as a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP. The Rajya Sabha polls will be held on June 18.
