₹7,597-crore NH upgradation project approved for Telangana, to boost regional connectivity
The Central government approved a ₹7,597 crore national highway upgradation project for four-laning of 190.76 km stretch of the National Highway (NH)-63 and NH-563 in north Telangana. The project will widen the Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial section of NH-63 to four-lane standards on HAM, and the Jagtial-Karimnagar section of NH-563 under BOT (Toll) Mode. This upgrade aims to reduce travel times between key cities and boost regional connectivity and economic growth. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar hailed the project as a game-changing infrastructure boost that will power the growth of Telangana for decades to come.
