
Bombay HC allows Gautam Navlakha to relocate to Delhi, sets strict conditions
The Bombay High Court granted Gautam Navlakha, an accused in the Elgar Parishad–Maoist links case, permission to move from Mumbai to Delhi until the trial concludes. The court imposed conditions including weekly reporting to a Delhi police station and surrendering his passport. Navlakha's counsel requested a reduction of the weekly reporting requirement, but the judges declined, stating that while he is entitled to liberty, he is not yet free.
