The Union education ministry is planning a full audit of the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) on-screen marking system (OSM), from tendering to implementation, following concerns about glitches and evaluation issues. This comes after students raised questions about answer sheet access, discrepancies in scanned copies, and technical glitches during re-evaluation. The company chosen for the OSM work, Coempt Edu Teck, is based in Telangana and has faced allegations regarding its previous work in the state.
