Karnataka: Foundation stone-laying for KPS, mega PTM on school opening day cancelled owing to political climate

Schools in Karnataka will reopen on Monday, June 1st. The Department of School Education and Literacy (DSEL) has cancelled the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Karnataka Public School (KPS) in Shivamogga due to the Cabinet dissolution following the resignation of the Chief Minister. The planned mega parents-teachers meeting (PTM) with the outgoing Chief Minister, featuring live interaction with students and parents through video conference in all schools across the state, has also been cancelled.
