
Former AIADMK MLA from Jayamkondam joins TVK
J.K.N. Ramajeyalingam, former AIADMK MLA, joined the ruling TVK party on Friday. S. Ravi, another former AIADMK MLA, also met with TVK leader and Water Resources Minister N. Anand to discuss joining the party. Pugazhendhi, a former AIADMK functionary, also met with Anand for a courtesy call. The reasons for Ramajeyalingam's decision include the "popular mandate" for C. Joseph Vijay, the TVK chief, and Palaniswami's attempts to form a government.
