Indian Air Force likely to oversee transport of NEET-UG re-test papers
The government is considering using the Indian Air Force (IAF) to manage logistics and transportation for the NEET-UG 2026 re-test, scheduled for June 21. A high-level meeting was held at the residence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, attended by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The IAF will provide transportation and logistics support to secure question papers from printing presses to examination centers across the country, aiming to minimize leak risks. The final decision is pending consultations with the Prime Minister's Office.
