Revanth Reddy hails NTR as a leader beyond politics

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy unveiled a statue of N.T. Rama Rao, praising him as a great leader who inspired significant change in people's lives through his policies. Reddy highlighted the influence of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi, and N.T. Rama Rao on Indian history, emphasizing that their contributions empower the underprivileged. He noted that NTR abolished the 'Patel Patwari' system, empowered women in property rights, and introduced several prominent leaders from Telangana. Reddy also cited NTR's ₹2-per-kg rice scheme as inspiration for the state's subsidized fine rice scheme.
