After State-run schools, Vande Mataram now compulsory in all Bengal madrasas

The West Bengal Directorate of Madrasa Education has mandated the singing of "Vande Mataram" during assembly prayers in all government, aided, and recognized madrasas across the state. The order, issued by the Director of Madrasa Education, states that this is effective immediately and supersedes previous practices. This decision follows a similar mandate for state-run schools announced earlier in May.
