Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary launches Sahyog Shivir to resolve people’s grievances

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched the Sahyog Shivir, a panchayat-level initiative to resolve people's grievances, in Saran district on May 19, 2026. The program, part of the state government’s ‘Ease of Living’ under the ambitious ‘Saat Nischay-3’ programme, aims to deliver services at citizens’ doorsteps and ensure timely redressal of issues. Choudhary emphasized that officials who fail to resolve applications within 30 days will face automatic suspension. The initiative includes a series of steps, including issuing notices and providing information regarding the resolution process. The program also involves distributing symbolic cheques representing various benefits to beneficiaries whose applications have been resolved.
