
With CM and three Ministers, Ernakulam gets strong representation in Cabinet
Ernakulam district will be well-represented in the new V.D. Satheesan-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government, with three ministers from the area taking their oaths on Monday. Roji M. John, Anoop Jacob, and V. E. Abdul Gafoor will join the cabinet, marking a significant presence for the district in the new administration. While John is making his debut, Jacob brings previous ministerial experience from the 2011-16 Oommen Chandy government, and Gafoor has been active within the IUML, serving as the district general secretary and practicing law since 2000.
