Udhayanidhi clarifies stand on Sanatana

Udhayanidhi Stalin, leader of the DMK youth wing, defended his statement in the Tamil Nadu Assembly that "Sanatana that divides people should be destroyed," saying it did not mean people should stop visiting temples. He insisted he was echoing the views of historical figures like Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, B.R. Ambedkar, and C. N. Annadurai. He stated that equal rights should be given to all, not just in temples but throughout society.
