The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu postponed the release date for Class 12 State Board exam results due to a lack of a Minister to authorize the announcement. After facing backlash from various stakeholders, including child rights groups and educationists, the department reversed its decision and released the results on May 8th, as scheduled.
