Armed with objections against ward delimitation, legislators make a beeline to GHMC

Legislators from various parties in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) protested against the ward delimitation notification, expressing concerns about lack of consultation and transparency. Congress legislators, including Khairatabad MLAs Danam Nagender and Serilingampally MLA Arikepudi Gandhi, submitted objections to the commissioner, while Bharat Rashtra Samithi representatives led by former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav also raised concerns about the hasty process and lack of public consultation. The deadline for receiving objections is December 17th, with a council meeting scheduled for Tuesday to allow further discussion on the matter.
