Class 12 State Board exams: Tamil Nadu registers 95.2% pass rate
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 State Board examination results showed a marginal increase in pass percentage to 95.2%, with Erode district achieving the highest rate of 98.8%. A total of 7,91,654 students sat for the exams, with girls outperforming boys at 97% compared to 93.19% for boys. School Education Secretary B. Chandra Mohan announced provisional certificates will be available from May 13th and supplementary exams for Class 12 will begin on June 29th. The outgoing Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin, congratulated the students and urged them to pursue higher education.
