President Lam of Vietnam was accorded a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday, marking his first state visit to India. He met with President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following talks with National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. The visit coincides with the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. President Lam will also meet with business leaders in Mumbai, aiming to bolster trade and investment ties.
