The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered repolling for the Falta Assembly seat in West Bengal on May 21st following allegations of electoral malpractices during the April 29th election. The ECI received complaints about black adhesive tape/perfume being applied to EVM buttons, voter intimidation, unauthorized party presence at polling stations, and instances of voters' companions casting votes on their behalf. The repolling will be held in all 285 polling stations and vote counting is scheduled for May 24th.
