No move to drop Urdu from J&K’s revenue services: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah

Sakina Itoo, a senior J&K minister, stated that Urdu is an essential part of the territory's identity and cannot be removed. The controversy arose after the PDP alleged that Urdu was dropped as a mandatory subject for revenue services recruitment, prompting protests.
