Attempt to shield ‘infiltrators’: BJP ahead of Congress’s rally against ‘vote theft’
The BJP accused the Congress of holding a rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi to protect "infiltrators" from being removed from electoral rolls. The ruling party claimed that the Congress's allegations of "vote theft" are fabricated and aimed at misleading the public and insulting constitutional institutions. The Congress, led by Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi, will address the rally, which also includes prominent leaders like Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, K.C. Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh, and Sachin Pilot. The BJP's national spokesperson Sambit Patra countered the allegations, stating that the Congress is engaged in "appeasement politics" and challenging Rahul Gandhi to file a complaint if he believes there were irregularities in the Bihar Assembly polls.
