Tamil Nadu election 2026: Our organisational strength is intact and we will return to power, says DMK Minister T.M. Anbarasan

T.M. Anbarasan, Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), running for the Alandur constituency in the upcoming Assembly elections, believes the DMK will return to power due to its record of governance. He highlights significant infrastructure projects completed during his tenure, including the extension of the MRTS network and flood mitigation efforts. Anbarasan acknowledges actor C. Joseph Vijay's entry into the race with his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, but believes the DMK will benefit from anti-incumbency votes directed towards the AIADMK. The government has implemented measures to revive MSMEs during the pandemic and promote start-ups through grants and regional hubs.
