BJP to take to streets over defeat of women’s quota Bill in Lok Sabha
BJP national president Nitin Nabin announced that the party and its allies would take to the streets to protest the defeat of the Constitutional Amendment Bill on women's reservation and the Delimitation Bill. Following the Bills' failure in the Lok Sabha, a meeting was held by J. P. Nadda, the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha. Nabin criticized the Congress for betraying women's rights and vowed to mobilize public support against the opposition. Women MPs from the NDA protested outside Parliament.
