
INDIA bloc opposes Delimitation Bill
Mallikarjun Kharge, president of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), announced that the INDIA bloc has unanimously decided to oppose the Delimitation Bill. Kharge stated that opposition parties are not against the Women’s Reservation Bill but are concerned about the bill's linking with delimitation and seat increases in State Assemblies. Several Opposition leaders, including T.R. Baalu, Tejashwi Yadav, and Sanjay Raut, expressed their opposition to the Delimitation Bill.
