Twenty20, the Kitex Group-backed political outfit, experienced mixed results in the recent panchayat elections. While it retained power in Kizhakkambalam and Aikkaranadu, it lost seats in Kunnathunadu, Mazhuvannoor, and failed to make a significant impact in the Kochi Corporation. Despite winning eight out of 18 seats in Thiruvaniyoor, its vote tally remained low across most divisions. The party's performance was particularly disappointing in the Corporation, where it garnered only two digits in votes for many divisions.
