Herculean task needed to stop sewage polluting Vaippar from Sattur town

P. Kamalavel Selvan, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate, criticizes the state administration and political parties for allowing illegal fireworks units to operate in Sattur Assembly constituency. He suggests that the government should help these units become licensed factories with support and assistance. The All India Puratachi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AIPTMK) accuses the DMK of failing to address safety concerns in fireworks units, leading to more accidents. The party candidate, Esakki Raja, promises a multi-speciality hospital with a burns ward for accident victims. Nainar Nagenthran, BJP leader and a former Tirunelveli MLA, is contesting the seat despite claiming he had to move from Tirunelveli on AIADMK's request. The DMK has fielded A. Kadarkarairaj, a veteran party member, who belongs to the Naikkar community.
