CM Sindh okays Rs9.98bn Phase-II of Karachi Safe City Project - Pakistan

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah approved Phase-II of the Karachi Safe City Project, which will install over 2,300 smart cameras and advanced monitoring infrastructure across Karachi. The project, estimated at Rs9.98 billion, aims to enhance urban security and law enforcement capacity by expanding the city's surveillance network. The meeting also reviewed proposals for similar projects in other Sindh cities, including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, and Shaheed Benazirabad. Shah emphasized the importance of integrating all safe city initiatives under a unified framework to ensure standardization and coordination.
