A.P. invites PM Modi to inaugurate Bhogapuram airport

The Andhra Pradesh government has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the newly constructed Bhogapuram International Airport in Vizianagaram district. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed dates in early July or mid-August for the inauguration, with the airport expected to be completed by June 30th. The state government is also working on improving connectivity through a flyover at Anandapuram Junction and proposals for a double-decker metro corridor. Meanwhile, the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the Ramayapatnam Port reviewed progress on the greenfield port project, approving an extension of time for Phase-I works.
