Kerala election 2026: Kit row explodes again in Thrissur; 4,000 kits seized at Vadanappally

The incident followed similar accusations in Olari and sparked clashes between rival political fronts, including the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF). Both sides alleged that the BJP was involved in distributing the kits to influence voters. The BJP denied these claims, while UDF candidate T. N. Prathapan demanded the arrest of BJP leaders allegedly involved.
