Asking allies to contest on principal party’s symbol is wrong: P. Shanmugam

Shanmugam criticized the DMK's decision to reduce the number of seats allocated to the CPI(M) compared to previous elections, but acknowledged the need for cooperation within the alliance. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong stance against caste-based violence and corruption in Tamil Nadu. Shanmugam believes that the government should focus on regulating liquor sales rather than implementing total prohibition. He criticized the lack of political discourse in colleges and advocated for student union elections to be held regularly.
