The trend has been replicated by candidates from the CPI(M) and BJP, with some even venturing into non-traditional campaigning strategies like Sharadwat Mukherjee, a BJP candidate who campaigned with a fish. These unusual campaigns aim to connect with voters on an everyday level ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.
