
Assam candidate has 37 bank accounts, 32 vehicles
Sewli Mohilary, the BPF candidate from Kokrajhar Assembly constituency, declared total assets worth ₹54.04 crore, including 37 bank accounts and 16 tipper trucks. Her husband, Hagrama Mohilary, the Bodoland Territorial Council chief, has significantly less wealth compared to her. Mohammed Badruddin Ajmal, the AIUDF chief, holds the highest assets at ₹222.34 crore, with a significant portion of his wealth in movable assets. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BJP candidate for Jalukbari, and his wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, reported a combined income of ₹35.16 crore in 2026, while Gaurav Gogoi, the Assam Congress president, and his wife Elizabeth Colburn Gogoi saw their combined income jump to ₹7.57 crore.
