NCP(SP) ‘unites’ behind Saseendran after Elathur candidate row

After weeks of internal conflict within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Kozhikode, a meeting led by P.C. Chacko, the party's national working president, resolved the dispute and unified the factions supporting Forest Minister A.K. Saseendran for his re-election bid from the Elathur Assembly constituency. Mukkom Mohammed, the NCP(SP) Kozhikode district president, confirmed that all disagreements have been settled, with Mr. Chacko emphasizing the party's paramountcy.
