VCK under compulsion to consider local candidates, says Thirumavalavan

Thol. Thirumavalavan, president of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), stated that he would consider candidates from constituencies allotted to the party due to a limited number of seats. He emphasized the importance of fielding local candidates and cited past instances where DMK candidates were outsiders who won despite losing in some areas. Thirumavalavan also noted that the VCK's decision-making process for candidate selection involves district committees and state committee finalization, unlike Communist parties.
