Kerala Assembly polls: Pinarayi Vijayan set to file nomination from Dharmadam

Pinarayi Vijayan, the Kerala Chief Minister and candidate for the Left Democratic Front (LDF), will file his nomination papers from the Dharmadam Assembly constituency on Thursday, March 19, 2026. The submission is expected at 11 a.m. at the District Registrar office in Thalassery. The LDF hopes to secure a larger majority than in the previous election, but faces competition from V.P. Abdul Rasheed, the UDF candidate who has garnered attention through his campaign events and large crowds.
