CITU slams Centre’s policies to privatise VSP
The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has accused the government of prioritizing employee removal over production increase at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). Ch. Narasing Rao, CITU state general secretary, and RKSV Kumar, Visakhapatnam district general secretary, claim the government is attempting to weaken VSP for privatization despite previous attempts thwarted by worker protests.
