Akhilesh Yadav meets Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, vows to put an end to ‘fake saints’

He also highlighted past SP initiatives for cow welfare and pledged to continue those efforts. The meeting was seen as a show of support for the Shankaracharya’s campaign against what he perceives as fake saints and the BJP government's alleged disregard for cultural values.
