
R N Ravi takes oath as 22nd Governor of West Bengal
R N Ravi, former IPS officer, was sworn in as the 22nd Governor of West Bengal on Thursday morning. The ceremony took place at Lok Bhavan and was attended by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee, senior ministers and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim, along with Left Front chairman Biman Bose. Mr. Ravi replaces C V Ananda Bose, who resigned earlier this month.
