House site pattas distributed, Indiramma houses sanctioned to eligible poor people on Bhoodan lands in Velugumatla

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, during a visit to Khammam, announced plans for the construction of a model colony in Velugumatla for poor people. The colony will include amenities like electricity, water, roads, and a hospital, with completion expected by December 9, 2026. Mr. Vikramarka also criticized the previous BRS government for failing to provide housing to the poor during their tenure. The initiative is part of a larger plan to construct 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses across the state at a cost of ₹22,500 crore.
