Ground-breaking for AM/NS steel plant on March 23: Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the groundbreaking for the ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel (AM/NS) integrated steel plant in Anakapalli district is scheduled for March 23, 2026. Naidu also stated that he hopes to complete the construction of the Kadapa Steel Plant by March 2028 and called on Collectors to expedite decisions on investment proposals. He further urged them to develop industrial clusters in Kopparthy and Orvakal and establish an MSME Park in each Assembly constituency.
